The dry-down is pure velvet, that earthy rootiness stays close to the skin for hours without turning soapy. I sprayed it on a wool scarf and three days later it still smelled like a forest floor at midnight.
This is the patchouli I’ve been hunting for—bold and almost smoky, like damp earth and old wood, not the sweet stuff you find everywhere. The opening hits hard and sacred, but it settles into this velvet warmth that lasts through a whole workday on my skin.
I wasn’t expecting the dry-down to feel so velvety—like the earthiness settles into your skin instead of sitting on top of it. It’s dark but not heavy, and four hours later it’s still got that sacred, unyielding presence.
